Comments	This is a stroboscope used for setting the speed of teleprinter motors. The stroboscope forks are hit gently against the palm of the hand, and the black and white bands painted around the teleprinter motor governor are observed through the slot in the plates attached to the fork of the unit. If the bands appeare stationary, the motor speed is correct. This unit is meant to vibrate at 150Hz, we have others for different frequencies, which are intended for different models of teleprinter.
